Parking ticket at workplace - zzps - mservices

Hi All,

i was wondering if anyone can suggest what to do with this parking ticket.

My partner was parked at work in a NHS health center car park she was parked in the permit holders bay which she does everyday.

Her permit must have blown off the dash board when she got out of the car.

She got issued a PCN from "comprehensive management services ltd"

She replied to them with a copy of the PCN and a copy of her permit and explained what happened on the 7-10-16

Then on the 19-11-16 (letter dated the 10-11-16) she gets a letter with the charge of £124 so she goes onto the website (iPayMyPCN.net) and makes an appeal online sends them another copy of her permit. And she has just received a email back saying that the PCN has been issued correctly and she needs to pay or the "account will progress"

the email was from a company called zzps.co.uk

Others in her office have had tickets and ignored them and never been taken to court

Should she pay as she is worried she might get a CCJ or debt collectors turn up.

Do you need any more info?

Thanks

Martin

she should complain to the practice manager or trust and INSIST that the pcn is cancelled due to having permission to park there

they should have put the VRM on a "whitelist" , not be using out of date pieces of paper (permits) that are subject to being forgotten or falling on the floor etc

ignore ZZPS , they are powerless debt collectors

  • hi,

Thanks for your replies, I am not sure who the original was i'll find out she sent it back to them first with a copy of her permit. She did not attach her address or anything else.

Also i have had a look at her permit it looks like a kid has printed the thing out its very poor.
Nowhere on it does it say it must be displayed.

We will wait to see the judge and let them have a look at the permit.

Strange they can have the technology to have a website and accept payments but not to have a system where they can check what cars have permits. Its only a small car park with allocated space for permit holders. Would be quicker for them to check a system than to take 7 photos and write a ticket!

    Thanks for your help

This is a scam. If it got to court the Judge would almost certainly be on your side. They make their money by trying to scare people into paying. From my experience, people who work for the NHS do not scare easily.

Well as long as you come back first because you need a defence that is strong, if the parking firm try a claim.

It is not just about showing a permit to a Judge. We help people win court claim defences as well.

Yes but that's deliberate. They make their money because they don't use a system that works for consumers.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
