Rather than debating whether lien applies, I think perhaps start off with whether the OP should be liable for the charges mentioned given the supplier sounds like they could potentially be in breach of contract.
Granted we dont know what the stipulations were as to period of performance, what was discussed/agreed, how far apart the 3 missed deadlines are, or how far over we are from the purchase or first delivery date but surely since the losses caused by a breach of contract are the liability of the party in breach, its an avenue worth exploring at least.You keep using that word.
