30 days for a mascara is insane. Majority are 6 months! No way would I pay for a new one each month.
Technically mascara is three months for safety.
I've never finished one to be fair. And i probably keep mine longer but i always try To be careful with mascara as I figure with a lip stick I may get a spot but an eye infection could be more sinister.
I'm on the side of younique is overpriced for what it is. I'm a fan of the Christmas free packages from max factor etc.

The wife of a colleague in work sells this and I thought it was expensive but being a tight wad I want sure whether it was me lol
It's it like having a colleague who sells Avon though I must admit I have to steel myself against ordering from there every time a catalogue appears0 -
My sister sells it and I so wish I could unfollow her group on FB!
I agree it's not very good and the prices are shocking for not very good!
Re: mascara - I use an Estee Lauder one and buy the sample sizes off eBay (never had an issue with them, but would be wary of buying a full size one because of fakes). Because I buy the sample sizes, I bin them roughly monthly.0 -
I use mascara until it dries up. Never had an eye infection doing this. Simple if you do get an eye infection then certainly through out your mascara and buy new when infection cleared up.
Oh and never share mascara.0 -
I've had shed loads of the Younique stuff- I have a friend who sells it and she often does raffles and special offers so I've had hundreds of quid worth of stuff for about twenty quid in total.
I have really bad sensitive skin and I struggle to find foundations that suit- I had been using Boots Number 7 but even that had started to irritate me. I used the Younique Mineral stuff and no word of a lie it's brilliant. Also their browliner pencil works better than the expensive Benefit stuff I have and it was cheaper!
All my makeup bar my mascara now is Younique. I don't get on with the mascara I must admit so I still use Boots Number 7 as I find their stuff works better and is less fiddly. I wouldn't however sell the stuff- not a hope so I'm not trying to promote anyone or anything, just saying it worked for me. I wouldn't pay full price for it either!!!*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
I'm an "about to give it up" Presenter - can't be bothered to try and sell it anymore.
Since stopping I've found many other brands I like which I haven't tried due to being a presenter and getting the Younique stuff free or cheaper.
The mascara I have gone off, prefer my Smashbox X-rated + Primer which is the same price as Y.
The Y's brow kit gave me confidence to do my brows, something I've never done before but since have found a love for Toppik's Brow Building Fiber's set (cheaper than the pencil and gel).
I do however LOVE the pencil liners, the lipsticks (I don't get on with lipstick normally) and the addiction eye shadow pallets. When I completely drop off Younique I'll still be buying those from my sponsor.
I get my £20 birthday credit next week so will be using that for my last order as a presenter.
The thing is, it is quality make-up. I have a friend who switched from complete Estee to complete Y and would never go back because she thinks the quality and price are better - but what is good quality for one person is crap to another. Everyone's skin, eyes, lips are different and work differently with each brand.
At least with Y you can get a full refund within 14 days of receiving it and you're covered for 90 days should there be a problem. I once got a dodgy mascara but didn't realise it was dodgy until I opened a fresh one - they replaced the dodgy one though it was 6 months since I'd purchased it. My sponsor had a foundation brush that will still malting after 9 months and they replaced it without a fuss.0 -
I use some younique make up. It's not the cheapest but i especially love the lip bon bons (lip balm) and splash lipstick. The staying power is brill - same with the eyeshadows. if i had enough money i would actually buy more younique stuff but i just treat myself every now and then and buy cheaper foundation etc at the moment.0

I was a customer for just under a year, Loved the mascara and the Liquid Foundation. The mascara can be a little fiddly as I had never used fibers before, but when you get the hang of it, its pretty good
I never threw it out after a month, they recomend 3 months...... but i just use it untill its empty lol I think everyone does that right?
I joined as a presenter recently, mainly to get 20-30% off. I try to keep by business seperate from my social sites....but I am sure I have annoyed many of my friends lol0 -
Complete load of rubbish. Product has proved time and time again to be poor quality - there are hundreds of people ranting on youtube about how they were treated by the brand too.0
