eRewards -> Virgin AirMiles

Has anyone managed to convert any eRewards points to Vigin Airmiles since Virgin changed the membership numbers to 10 digits.

The eRewards form refuses to accept a number which is not 11 digits.

    If I was dealing with a human I would agree with you.

    But as this is going from one system to another electronically I would not do anything so rash.

    In computing terms "012345" is NOT the same as "12345", hence would point to a different account.

  • I have just had a reply to my THIRD support reply.

    This time they actually read my messages and have said that they are aware of the changes virgin have made and are going to update there system shortly.

  • Over the weekend I noticed that the virgin web site states that you can log in with either your old 11 digit number or your new 10 digit number.

    I have therefore entered my 11 digit number and I will let you know if this is successful.
