Im after a dash cam after seeing so many close calls and incidents.

Anyone got any experience which are good brands?
Need it with G shock and GPS.

I was thinking of either the Transcend 220 Pro About £90

or a Nextbase 402G about £100
both seem to have reasonable feedback although a few negative reviews.

Have you tried using the search facility? The dashcam subject comes up a lot.
  • Had the Transcend 220 in since Feb with no issues other than didn't like a 64GB card I got (suspect it was a copy) , now useing a 32GB Transcend and no write errors .
Only thing I will mention is that when I put the card in laptop for viewing it took me a bit of time of find certain time/days I wanted to look at , they didn't appear to be in any sequential order .
Quality of footage is very good .
    Got mine hard wired .

Loads of up to date dash cam threads here already and even a Sticky - why not look at those instead of starting yet another?
  • I have the Nextbase 312GW and it's been great so far. https://trustedcarproducts.co.uk/product-review/nextbase-312gw-dashcam

That's because of all the people posting new threads instead of using the Sticky!
  • Surely that's a matter that should be addressed to the board guide. They are the ones with the right to move threads.
