I've just been into the bank and paid off my Small loan, I've sorted the bank transfer which will clear my A and L account.

Which leaves me with only 1 more debt to pay, ok its a big one, but its the only one!
    Current debt - £16,300 :(
    Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek:
:ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A

    Hi folks

Haven't posted on here for ages, nor done my finance practice properly, and both things are essential. So, today:
    - check online banking, there's a small amazon payment to transfer to my savings account, and some pushing money around accounts because of the payments to the builder.
    - am going to see the friend this afternoon who I do the finance practice with, to work out some stuff.
    - will email my cognitive behavioural guy, tell him this week was a complete no go in relation to actually starting to do the finance stuff for real.
    - will keep this page up until I've done this lot!

  • Today it is my birthday and my parents have given me money to treat myself (they don´t know I have debts) so I am going to save that money to make the next couple of student loans payments, which is a relief as I struggle to pay them now that my mortgage has gone up so much, but I am going to treat myself a little as I hate spending "present money" on debts when I know the person giving me the money wants me to treat myself. I am going to treat myself to a bunch of flowers, some chocs and a nice bottle of wine, then on Saturday I am going to treat myself to some books at the charity shop and not worry about student loan repayments for the next two months :)
  • Hi everyone, I have missed this thread too, helps me see how the everyday things add up. Hope everyone is OK.
I am currently setting up a business, so have
    - checked out deals on business banking
    - been on the phone for ages, with regards to getting the funding to finance it (I am getting debt, but its productive business debt, not personal debt to finance an extravegant lifestyle as previous)

    On the personal debt front,
    - making dinner now instead of getting something out
    - phoning tesco loans re: my loan payment
-chasing up my 0% card still not arrived since early Aug
    - sold a couple of items on ebay, only small amounts, but adds up
    - might count my £1 coin tin tonight, its pretty much full and better in the bank now earning interest, prob about £100 in it

    Welcome, Gabriella! :hello:

Well done on paying off your loan, Lucy! :T

    Happy Birthday, Valentina! :bdaycake:

    Today, I will:

    ~ have done Piggyclicks
~ have checked internet banking and paid off this month's credit card statement in full
~ eat lunch and dinner out of the storecupboard/freezer, so no spend on food

Only little steps, but every little helps!! ;)
