Just a heads up really as we come into the Christmas pressie buying season.
Mum ordered on line a pair of earrings as a pressie from John
Lewis and collected them, in store today.
She was given the sealed package and only opened the package when having a coffee a little later.
On opening the package, it was empty bar the delivery note...not even an empty presentation box!
Fortunately John Lewis accepted her version of events & have ordered another pair fir her but if the contents are light then people may be advised to open the packaging in front of a member of staff.
