Toyota TOTSS Bulletin

Would anyone know if Toyota have a thing called a TOTSS Bulletin.

The only relevant hit on a Google search is this thread, so if it does exist it must be kept very low key. What do you think it is?

Closest thing, I would suggest, is the 'Toyota Tech-Tip', a document sometimes issued instead of or alongside a TSB or in addition to a WSM giving specific technical data such as part supersession or similar. These documents are referenced with a T-TT prefix, and it's conceivable some people may refer to them as TOTTS or something.

I read on another forum that the 2008 Toyota yaris had a problem with the gearbox crunching and the fix was on the TOTSS bulletin.

No. The post was from 2009 and the member haven't been on the forum since then. It only seems like Toyota can get hold of the information.

That thread actually suggests that TOTSS is a system which contains the bulletins, not the bulletin itself.


I think you're looking for a TSB which will have been published via this 'TOTSS' system. I can only surmise that TOTSS may stand for 'Toyota Online Technical Service System' or something like that.

No it was off a yaris forum. After reading the forum you posted it looks like there is a fix but when you contact Toyota they don't know anything about it.
