Hi Guys Im abit peeved at the mo.
I got an Abbey Card Credit back when they were issue by MBNA then
I balance transfer £4000 On 0% with a Balance Transfer fee of 2% = £80.
So in total I owe £4080 on the card, Now the card went back to the Santander group ie Abbey, I recieved my first statement and they charge me interest on my balance transfer fee, I rang to ask them and they said that it was in the T&Cs !!? I have balance transfer with load of credit cards and never had once been subject to paying interest on a fee!!
Can anyone tell me if abbey are in the right??
anyone else have had the same done to them?
Regards

I was hit with an interest charge too but it just wasn't worth my time to dispute it since I was at the end of my promo interest-free purchase period. I'm going to cancel the account.
Don't you find it annoying with Abbey's maximum security web login? I'm surprised they haven't asked for a blood sample.I know nothing0
