Skype on IPad

I use Skype - with the same name/account - on a Windows PC and an IPad.

Deleting all history on the PC is no problem, but I can't find how to delete the history on the IPad. I have hundreds of call notifications/messages/birthdays etc going back months.

Pressing the 'history' button simply brings back the history for each person on my list, but doesn't show me how to delete.

Any ideas please?

There may be a more elegant way of course, but otherwise just remove the app and reinstall it?

Thanks, I did reinstall once. However with Microsoft owning Skype now it wasn't a simple case of entering user name and password. As originally I had used a different email address, Microsoft needed so much information, they just about wanted to know what I had eaten for breakfast!!
