Apple Family Sharing

Hi

I have myself and three kids all using my apple id on phones and ipads etc but it is causing havoc.

I have read a bit about apple family sharing but wondered if I set them all up with a new ID and added it to the family sharing thing would they lose their content and progress in different games? Also photos as my daughter takes hundreds.

I'm useless at this type of thing.

Thanks in advance for your help

  • Family sharing is the way to go. To transfer the photos of your daughter to her new account share them with her in the photos app. There might be some problem with game progress, but there will be at some point anyway, so better now than more later. As you say there's already ha ok going on, at least this will be one-time ha ok rather than ongoing. Good luck.
