Hi everyone,
Apologies if I've put this in the wrong forum, but I couldn't find anywhere else for it to go.
My girlfriend lives in Norway, I live here in the UK. We are regularly travelling to each other or meeting in other places.
Like any normal couple, we like to split the costs of this, and due to all the travelling, different currencies, flights, hotels, etc, it gets quite complicated! We've spoken about getting a joint account and each just putting cash in that, and using that to pay for things, however it's obviously not quite that easy.
Has anyone got any suggestions for what we could do?
I am with Nationwide and like using my Select Credit Card when abroad as it doesn't charge me anything for the privilege, but we're both fed of up tracking receipts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think the best solution is for you both to sign up for Revolut on their smartphone app. Load pounds with your debit card, then you can send GBP/USD/EUR to each other instantly, use the cards in any currency at the interbank rate (weekdays), and all transactions are listed immediately on the app. No fees except for ATM withdrawals in excess of £500equ. per month (2%), and conversions in excess of £5000equ./month (0.5%).Evolution, not revolution0
