PPI after an IVA
Options
Hi all,
I have a question about PPI. I was sent my IVA completion certificate in June 2014.
Following that I started receiving correspondence from Slater Hayward Law asking to start PPI claims. I signed their forms as it implied I was obliged to do this.
After speaking to someone recently it seems like perhaps I shouldn't have done this as there was no mention in my completion letter, and I should be entitled to these funds.
Is there any right for me to pursue this on the basis SHL misled me, or should I just leave it? I believe it should be the latter, especially as I think payment has already been issued from Bank of Scotland (they were dealing with PPI complaint), but this person I had advice from is telling me I'd be mad to let it go!
Thanks in advance

If your PPI relates to a debt that was from before your IVA started then it will still be required to be paid into the IVA whether it is completed or not.Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00

Agree with milliemonster. Anything from before IVA goes in the pot. Mine gave me the first £500 back, but that depends on your IP and their policy. It is an ongoing arrangement after IVA finishes that previous pre IVA PPI goes in the pot.0
