Hi all. I was wondering if I claim back the account fee will it affect my overdraft as I really need to keep it. I'm so worried that if I put in a claim I'll lose it.
Many thank.

If the deal included a higher facility then that could be reduced. If the deal included cheaper borrowing rates then you would lose those.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Just been through the process and can confirm for me that my overdraft remained as was, my mis-selling was that I was told I needed additions to increase my overdraft - which was wrong.
Just remember that you get the first £250 of your overdraft free, anything above that you still pay an overdraft charge, so if your overdraft never goes above £250 you may be better off keeping the additions.0
