Loft boarding Midlands / Trusted trade sites

Hi all

I am looking for a loft boarding company to come and do my loft in the midlands. However, struggling to find any with a lot of positive reviews.

Any recommendations for a company or any recommendations on trusted, reliable trade sites where I could potentially find someone?

Hard to know which sites to really trust with reputable honest reviews for tradespeople.

Any thoughts folks?

You are looking for the wrong people. You require a carpenter or a general handyman.

Be aware that you, and they, have to understand ventilation, membranes, condensation control, and compressing any existing insulation. If these items are not taken into account the end result could be a serious problem for you.

What kind of boarding? Are you trying to convert it into something or are we talking about boarding over the ceiling joists for storage?

Hi, yes I should have mentioned that i am looking for someone to come in and tidy up the loft insulation which needs doing and then board over the ceiling joists for storage as well as a light and ladder.

You would have to judge if a carpenter, or handyman, is competent for wiring in a light and also if you should get testing paperwork for this.
