    Do you have the reminder?

That has the original 'date issued' (of PCN) on it (top right) plus the date of event. If you have the reminder you can work out the dates and the gap by which it could/would have been served.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Sorry yes the date of event was the 21 August but no date issued given on the reminder either?? Should it be on there?

Top right, it normally has 'date issued' among other info in the box, if this is the reminder notice that mimics the PCN?

No nothing referring to the date issued!?!
Wish I knew how to post a pic but the letter I have refers to schedule 4 requirements being met therefore they have the right to pursue me for the charge.

    simple

host the pic on tinypic or photobucket and add a dead link (url) to it , changing http to hxxp in your reply

make sure the personal info and references are redacted first though

To upload a photo/scan link, you first need to host it on a free photo hosting site (Photobucket or Tinypic), copy the URL, paste it here, but change the http to hxxp and we'll do the conversion. Newbies can't directly upload links to photos/scans until they've got a few posts under their belt.

That's not a reminder, that's the one they send when people don't appeal in time after a month or so. Going by the date of that (5th October) I would suggest the PCN was probably issued by about 1st September and must have been one with the POFA wording on it. If it was a non-POFA one, PE would not have followed it with that letter.

Yes I would remove point #1 (possibly leave in #2 for the fun of it, to make it a long appeal) then make sure you've not missed anything relevant that was in the appeal written for marganne. See next post for that wording.

PE dropped out in that case. Having no pics of the machines won't matter but you could say the keypad was small and scratched and the wording faded & hard to read - because that's always true. Helps explain why the disabled person took several minutes to pay. And the surface of the car park - and how busy it was with pedestrians and reversing cars - can explain why the car took a longer time to leave than in a small, well-surfaces half-empty site.
