ABS light
Tonight there was a lot of surface water. My ABS light came on when I drove over a big puddle. When I got home I connected VAG-COM and got a front right sensor implausible signal DTC. I cleared the code and went for another drive. It stayed off. Am I likely to get the light on again or is driving over surface water a common cause for ABS lights to come on?

If some water got into the sensor it may have given a rogue signal. It sounds as if it has dried out. If you have cleared the fault and it doesn't reappear, I'd say you were fine. Just keep an eye on it - worst case, new sensor. Not a big job.If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0

Its most likely a rogue signal caused via the water, it sounds like already dried out.0

If you get a chance, though, have a look around the sensor and wiring - they're all pretty well waterproofed due to location, so a bit of water shouldn't really cause trouble. Maybe you'll find some damage to insulation that might be letting it in when it shouldn't, and could be fixed.0
