Which Utilities do not report to Credit Reference Agencies (CRAs)?

I posted a new thread yesterday after switching from Eon (who didn't show on my Credit Report) to British Gas (who did) caused my credit score to drop by 34 points. I know its a small amount, and the score doesn't really count for anything, but it was enough to make me realise paying £15 a month for Experian Credit Expert was probably a waste of time.
Eon only report you to Equifax. One of the problems in the mad world of credit reporting in the UK is that there are three agencies and not all lenders and utilities report to all three.0 -
British Gas do
OVO don't0 -
I would urge everyone to find suppliers that don't report to the CRAs. They cannot be trusted with your financial data, and it's about time utility reporting was outlawed.
I might just add, British Gas are one of the worst offenders.
The biggest problem is that CRA's cannot be trusted with our financial data, but there isn't much that can be done.
I have smart meters so there is never any issues with readings, my account is always in credit, and every time I come to switch, BG seem to offer the best deal via MSE's collective switch.0 -

Do you happen to know if a credit balance is reported to the CRAs?0 -
Anglian Water report to CRAs, Ovo Energy don't.urs sinserly,

These two do, and interestingly they are by far the worst offenders when it comes to malicious blacklisting at the CRAs. They should be avoided at all costs.
None of these ever appeared on my credit file though ???
None of my current suppliers do either.
Not on Experian, Equifax, or Noddle.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Interesting. Both these companies definitely smack up their customers with credit reporting. There are loads of cases on this board and elsewhere of the nightmare they have wrought on people across the country with their malicious reporting. Not sure why they don't appear on the CRAs' files about your finances. Maybe you have old accounts, or maybe they haven't been able to identify you accurately enough. This often doesn't matter, due to electronic guessing on the parts of the CRAs. Accordingly, it's possible your accounts are being reported against someone else. Regardless, I wouldn't make any enquires about it; non-reporting of utility accounts can only be a good thing.0 -
Quick update- these also do report to CRAs:
Ovo
Flow Energy.
