Ways for a teenager to make money

A great job is to help as a swimming assistant at your local pool or school pools.
Great rates of pay and available after school.
If you the do a STA course you will earn a minimum of £10/hr0 -
I would also suggest going for a call center job. The only skill you need for that is good English and you should just know how to communicate with people. In my opinion that's the best job for a teenager.0

A 15 year old will not get a job in a call centre.

You could try looking into leaflet distribution - similar to a paper round but local companies always want flyers putting through doors.
I own a leaflet distribution from a very reputable franchise and we are not allowed to use anyone under 18 to distribute leaflets I would be very sceptical of any company who does. Its Vegas time -no longer :T a five year old has changed Vegas time to Orlando time0 -
My daughter and her friend got face paints and stood outside the local football grounds on a Saturday. At £2 a go they considered £100 each as a bad afternoon...and that was a few years ago.
When my son was in his last year at school he, and a friend, hired a power washer and did a deal with a local filling station when they were short of cash.0 -
I quite often see teens posting on the local facebook asking for jobs to do. They always get many replies. Most popular are probably -
Mowing the lawn, cutting down bushes, general easy garden tidying - and washing cars (grab a friend and go nuts)
It'll help if a parent or sibling could drive you around to these houses but if not, still totally possible. I would probably go for washing cars this time of year, for a tenner or so each time.
For newspaper round, you need to pop to your local newsagents and ask instore if they need anyone.
Ask at the local hairdressers if they need any help - brushing up the hair and hair washing etc. Not glam but if it brings in the money ..
I wish you luck. Always nice to see people trying hard to make money for the stuff they want.0
