hi sorry to sound thick, i need to get an ip cctv by recommendation of the police, long story. i have looked at this..
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00HVGVKTQ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3VXYNFPCMFL70
now i believe it to fit the bill, but, do i need to buy the data storage box as well? i hoped i could use my cloud storage.
i think i can pretty much fit this camera without too much of a trauma, i live alone and am no brilliant diyer.

you need a basic CCTV box like http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SECULINK-4CH-720P-Home-CCTV-Security-H-264-HDMI-AHD-DVR-Video-Recorder-Box-UK-/262302108269?hash=item3d126c8a6d:g:B00AAOSwQYZWytVM and a 5 yr old child to set it up
I think the one listed needs a £30 (or more) hard drive adding to it , with the suggested box , you can use a basic wired cameraSave a Rachael

yes i knew they need power, was going to run it through a titchy hole already there for sky dish. i think, ill just employ someone, its not that im not allowed to drill the wall its just that i have a disability that doesnt allow me to get up there. the cctv i already have is quite old and the picture quality is 720 and its that high up it can recognise there is someone there but not who. the police also said to get some lighting at the rear of my property to try and catch a certain person upto no good. 9 years on we still havent caught him in the act.
