  • Vanilla, if you're gonna keep an eye on the sc, I hope that you've got a glass lid. You don't want to be lifting the lid too often, it lets the heat out, and the sc takes longer to regain the heat.
    Hope you have a lovely dinner tonight. I love sc chicken, but it is more of a stewed chicken than a roast.
    I think I'll try annie-c's tip and put the tin foil in the bottom of the pot before adding the chicken next time and see how it turns out.

    Have it on now from 10am and hoping it will be ready for 5pm, 6pm at the latest.
    Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
    And things go wrong no matter what I do.
    Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
    But you've got the love I need to see me through.
