that there was a new thread on places to eat out that included the Ava (my fav) but I can't find it. Is a certain pompous Chef now demanding threads that include any competition be removed?

Twas my birthday on Monday and my good lady wife treated me out to a meal at the Bangor Bay Inn. On Monday to Thursday between 5pm and 7pm they do "buy a main course get one free" deal. My wife had chicken maryland, I had scampi and both were good portions and very tasty indeed - all for the princely sum of £9.95. We will be back! :money:
