Copy not working in MSE

I've recently found that I cannot copy text from any post on an MSE forum page.
If I want to copy text I usually just highlight it and then right click and select copy but now if I do this MSE stops responding and I have to refresh the page. This has been happening for several days.
I use Win 10 64 bit and don't have this problem elsewhere.
Would appreciate any help on this.

Bin that off and use ie instead
click in the search box and type iexplore , when the icon appears, right click it and choose pin to task bar
then remove that edge rubbish by rght clicking and choose unpin from task bar0 -
I've switched over to IE and 'copy' works fine here.
Pity, because I like EDGE and have been using it for over a year without any problems. I suspect one of the latest MS updates is responsible for the 'copy' problem.
