BT are in the process of a new service that will basically blacklist many of these .

They have the facility, but don't always use it (no idea why) . The email is generic, with just your account number and item name inserted, but I sometimes have calls asking if I still want a book which has 'disappeared' from stock.

Our local Council library uses emails to tell us when a book is due. Does yours have that facility? Much easier.0
