JSA backpay if you stop claiming
Comments

Hi Tommo, does a doctors note allow you to claim JSA whilst you are off sick or does it pay ssp? Or neither?0

Your JSA claim continues. If after the 13 weeks you are still not fit for work you would have to stop claiming JSA and start an ESA claim.

That's true. From memory the JSA rules allow 2 periods of sickness per year (and 2 periods of holiday in the UK pa). Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.0

Anxiety & a potential ESA claim are both mentioned by the OP in that post. Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.0
