Hi - I am not sure how many of you are aware, but this site https://www.roboform.com is excellent.
You can save passwords, generate passwords, automatically fill forms and so on. Check it out.

I used Roboform for years, but the latest release only allows you to save 10 passwords in the free version, so I switched to Handy Password, which I think is a lot easier to use, is free, stores unlimited number of passwords and is less intrusive than Roboform. Take a look:

the roboform allows upto 10 accounts, don't think it is 10 passwords, cos i have more than 20 passwords stored on it, on the new version. Also if i wanted to use the handypassowrd, can i transfer the passwords from the roboform onto it?

Thankyou so much, i have been looking for something like this for a while now, and i came across your thread avi.
Thankyou also, Wombat, these are just what i have been looking for.

avi - I don't know, but I downloaded the latest update for Roboform and I kept getting a pop-up box every time a form needed filling in saying that I had 15 passwords stored and was only allowed 10 unless I paid up for the full version? This was incredibly annoying, so I ditched it and I'm glad I did. I find Handy Password less intrusive, as I said.
As for transferring your passwords etc. from Roboform to Handy Password......what I did was to instal HP, then use Roboform's index of my passcards to go to every website page I had passwords for, autofill the boxes using Roboform, save the data using HP's Save feature, and hey presto, all data transferred. Uninstal Roboform.0
