Best Wooden Christmas Advent Calendars

Options
Hi folks!
Looking for some recommendations for wooden advent calendars please, the kind you fill with your own choice or treats.
I've seen a few on Amazon but it's difficult to tell the quality of them and the ones I have seen that were good quality in next, I didn't really like the design of.
Has anyone bought any of the ones from Amazon etc. that could let me know if they are good enough quality to last the next 20 years? I'm looking for something that becomes a bit of a Christmas heirloom for my daughter. :-)
Thanks in advance for any help! :A

Aldi have some in (if there's any left) for under £10. Hobbycraft are also pretty cheap.

The three I can get to were all sold out (Aldi) - and that was the day after they came out!

I would have liked one but I guess it's not the end of the world *sigh*

Not like DD is short of any christmassy treats anyway!

Reminds me I need to get stuff her her advent calendar and wrap it up - and NOT leave it till the night before which is my birthday and not the ideal time to wrap loads of stuff up!

I picked up an Aldi one (the nutcracker) for my DD or I thought it could be shared between both kids. What I wasn't expecting is for her 16yo brother to announce he'd like one too! Fortunately I mentioned the story to my parents who visited the store the following day and bought one of the three that were left!

It's nice but some of the drawers are very tiny. This isn't so much of an issue for an older girl. Christmas earrings/bobbles are going in to several drawers.

This is something I'd bare in mind if buying for many years of use, especially online you need to know the dimensions of the drawers.

Some years ago I did buy my DD an advent where every day is a tiny book that you read and then hang on your Christmas tree. I waited several years to give her it, and she was still too 'young' for it. I showed it her again yesterday and she'd forgotten all about it and loved it (she's 13).
