Got my credit card, can I direct debit?

I've got my cash back credit card now, can I set up direct debits with it? I'd like to pay all my bills which I currently pay from my bank account with this card so I get cash back. The problem is there is no sort code or account number on the card and the 3 companies I've spoken to so far say they can't do it. Is this true? If so is there another way I can get more from my cash back card without resorting to paying bills by phone when they arrive and losing my discount for paying by direct debit?

There are many bills that can't be paid by credit card (also note its not called a DD on a credit card but a continuous payment authority)0
