in Credit cards
Hello, I would appreciate any advice. I currently have 2 credit cards that I need to transfer the balances of. So far I've been rejected for 2 applications. I think this is because I've had to create payment plans for a lease car and my mortgage due to being on maternity leave. The interest on my cards is killing me. I'm not the most savvy when it comes to this and barely have any time to research as a single mum with a 10 month old so any advice would be greatly appreciated. TIA

If you're on payment plans, you won't be getting any BT offers.
Post on the DFW boards for advice on cutting costs and paying down faster.0 -
I second the advice suggested by previous poster, need to cut back on the spending.0

............So look at it from a lenders perspective - you have had 2 years interest free but not paid your debt off.
As others have posted go to the debt free wanabe board and try to cut your debts by reducing costs to leave you more money to pay off the cards.0 -
You have been paying part of your mortgage with a credit card. Tia, I think you may be in more trouble than you realise. Please take above people's advice and head to the debt free wannabe board for advice0

Use an eligibility checker before you make any further applications.
I'm sorry to say that I agree with what has been said. Your chances of getting a 0% balance transfer card at the present time are very slim.0 -

Don't think The OP is called Tia, and they don't say they've paid their mortgage with a credit card ? TIA usually stands for "thanks in advance"0
