House sold but render problem

We have sold our house but we awaiting the survey. There are a few small non structural cracks in the render that is,attached to the thermalite brick extension. It is has been re rendered over the years. Sone of the render has blown but is not coming off the wall (areas up to a square metre).
Presumably this will be picked up in the buyers survey??
Should I be prepared to lower the sale price to into account the need for rendering?

I think it will depend on how bad the cracks are and whether they are causing damp in the wall beneath. The homebuyers report I had found cracks in the render, and damp in the wall, but didn't link the two together and advised me to pay for a damp survey. The damp survey said the cracked render had caused the damp, and it needs to be removed and re-rendered. There is actually 'vegetation' growing into the walls. I don't know how big the area is, at a guess 6 sq meters. I got a quote from a builder for £800 (if it's an upper storey scaffolding pushes the price up), and have requested a reduction in price for this. Your buyer may request a reduction in price, but that doesn't mean you have to agree to it.0

Why not just correct the fault?
It will be picked up so you can do three things
Fix it
Lower price
Ignore it and hope your buyer just accepts it

It costs (relative) peanuts to fix, I wouldn't worry about it.0

The trouble with cracks in render is that water gets in and is then trapped, causing penetrating damp.
Has that happened?
Why not get 2 or 3 quotes from bulders to fix the problem, and then wait and see? If a buyer, or their surveyor, brings it up, you'll be armed with information about what the real cost is to rectify.0
