JVC Camcorder Lens Error / Broken CCD

I thought I would leave this here for anyone else who has a problem with the said error and is out of the year guarrantee.

You need to write to:

JVC Consumer Support
JVC UK Ltd
JVC House
JVC Business Park
Priestly Way
London
NW2 7BA

State the problem, the model number and the serial number. You don't need the receipt.

Thanks for those details mate

Can I ask what sort of problems you've experienced cause the last few months my JVC wont work properly it either stays with a black screen (and says lens cap) or just zooms in and out at will.

Is this a known issue.

Update...

Just found out by searching a bit how widespread this has been, so thanks again for the headsup - I missed the origonal post in March.

Exactly the same as mine mate - write to them and hopefully they'll repair it free of charge. Glad this has helped someone else.
