Travel Insurance For The Older Person?

Any help would be great on this;
Yesterday I went to my local gym and afterwards chilled out in the steam rooms and sauna. I got talking to a lady who told me that she is 80 next although she looked much younger and in great health. She told me that she loved to travel abroad but her insurance was going to cost a fortune.
I was surprised at this and she told me that she had looked everywhere. So I told her that I would post on here and hopefully someone would be able to point me to a good company which I could print off and take for her?
Thanks anyone who can help. Let's look after the older generation like they looked after us.

Hi there is a post entitled "travel tips for the older person/pre-existing conditions" or something similar on next 'page' (travel,trips and holidays). You might find something there. HTH:wave:0

have a look at the latter posts for most up to date recommendations.
I did notice that BIBA have a list of brokers for those 80 years and over - see Travel: Up to 85 on BIBA's site:
