I am switching to Daligas via the Cheapenergyclub , gas only. I put in my sort code as requested in the correct way 00-00-00 and the correct 8 digit account number and after 15 attempts I ve given up because it says I ve done it wrong. .I m not getting it wrong,, not after 15 tries.
Any ideas anyone ? Is it MSE or Daligas I complain to

Which website were you trying to put the details into? That will tell you who to contact to sort it out.
Sounds like it is probably Daligas if you were entering bank details - they have an 0800 number on their website.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. Presumably it was this form?
https://www.daligas.co.uk/home-application
As you fill in the sort code, you should get a drop down menu in order to pick out your particular bank & banch. This will then automatically fill in the Bank Name field0 -
Nothing like that form Footyguy, just a simple online form. on the list of suppliers that the CEC brings up, I c/o Daligas and it takes me to the supplier. It was just a simple list of name , account number, sort code.. Not much information really.Never got past sort code and account number. I m 100% sure I put them in correctly..I ll try again. There is £15 cashback filling in via CEC.. I may as well collect that for the gas account only and another for the electric account. The rates for gas were only 2.39 p/kwr which is nt bad for today after the Brexit vote which appears to have started the prices to head North again0

Is it the page that asks the following questions?Supply Address
Title
Name
Email Address
Telephone Number
Do you have a Smart Meter?
Main Account holder
Sort Code
Account number
Is the billing address the same as the supply address?
I note that when you enter the sort code in the format 00-00-00, it automatically changes it to 000000.
Anyway, here are the contact details of MoneySuperMarket.com
https://www.moneysupermarket.com/c/customer-care/
Edit:
Do you get what looks like error messages saying:
Please check the sort code you have entered is correct, and in the correct format: 00-00-00
And
Please check the account number you have entered is correct
I'm not sure if they are error messages rather than just warning messages. i.e. if you are sure they are correct, can you press the 'Proceed to Switch' button at the bottom? And if so, does it proceed?
If not, then the site is broken as those messages in red appear no matter wht you put in the boxes.
Edit 2:
Sadly, they are error messages, and you cannot proceed
Edit3:
Got it to work eventually, but it seems a bit temperamental
I ensured all previous questions were answered first.
Then I put in the sort code in the format 000000
Then put in the account number
Then took the cursor down to the "Is the billing address the same as the supply address?" question and clicked it just left of the 'Yes' circle.
(if it doesn't work first time, you have to go back and re-enter the bank details)

Oh Thanks Footyguy, I think you may have cracked it ! maybe I d jumped to the sort code/account number and it bamboozled it into cancelling everything. Thanks once again for your patience in sorting this out.I will now return and get switched from BG standard and give Daligas a go for a year0
