My son allowed his friend to se his laptop, it runs windows 10 and his friend changed the log in password but we can no longer unlock it for my son. is there any way we can fix this issue for him?
The friend is polish and it is possible the password may not be in English. this is part of the reason we are having trouble working out what he could have used as the password, asking him is an option however he has gone back to Poland until next year.

If he logs on with his Microsoft account, couldn't he update his password on line on some one else's computer?0

Hi thanks for the help. I simply reset to factory pressing F11 on start up. this worked easy enough0
