Car hire in Cyprus

Does anyone know of a reliable company for car rental in Cyprus.

I am going to Protaras in June and wanted to get a good deal.

Got lots of contacts in Paphos for car hire, but nothing Protaras sorry!
In Cyprus there are loads of car hire companies and they will all do reasonably good deals for you - I would wait till you get there and then ask the hotel or rep who they would recommend or you could end up with something not too good as there are lots of people hiring out dodgy Japanese imports.

Yes, I would agree with the previous poster. ive just come back from cyprus and there are countless places doing car hire. When you get there you can compare prices easily and most operators will price match your best offer.I would only book in advance if you want a particular model or prestigious vehicle.( most places offer AirCon and this is essential as temps can soar into the 40s C.) If you intend going off road or up into the mountains make sure to take out the optional insurance on the tyres and undercarriage as some of the roads are incredibly rough.

Most of the tours companys are useing SIXT as they have the newest cars, nothing to stop u booking with them directly , as its probably cheaper than through your holiday company as they get a cut.
