Buying Insurance for a Flat

Hi,

I am right in thinking when I complete on my flat purchase (modern built 8 years old), that I only need to purchase contents insurance as building is covered within my service charge - which it is...

BUT - if a flat leaks into mine or vice versa....who covers this? me or the service charge?

the building insurance and then your contents insurance for damage to your items.

Ultimately it will be via yourself via higher premiums/ service charge
