Paying remaining balance/amount by DD or bank transfer when 0% offer ends

Currently, I have a 0% credit card with a direct debit payment that is set to minimum. 0% offer ends in April.
I was thinking of which method is the best to pay off the remaining amount/balance::
Pay it bank transfer
Pay it by DD (if this option is chosen, I will be changing the direct debit option from minimum payment to full payment after the March payment is processed - probably the next day. 1st March payment taken, 2nd March change DD from minimum payment to full payment).
The remaining balance is just over £5000.
Which method is best? I don't want to end up having the transaction (or even my bank account) blocked, as the amount is big.
I assume direct debit can have any amount and no maximum? I know bank transfers online have a maximum limit for a day.

Faster payment limit is 10k from a personal account.0 -
Just do a faster payment. Don't rely on the DD getting changed in time.0
