    It was Curry's. The guy said all the laptops here run Vista, you won't be able to run your version of Office 2003, you'll need 2007. There were one or two others. The laptop in question was reduced from £499 to £350.

    Would you do everyone a favor and go down to Curry's and make a formal complaint!

    Snap!, my son lives near Poole and I guess he went to a store in that area. Next week (Wed) we are going to visit them for a fortnight. Between then and now, I will have gathered as much info as I can, then visit the store myself and have the guy pointed out to me, and "I" will ask the same question.

    make a complaint! i dont think i will be buying anything from Curreys ever again, if there sales team are that incompetant :eek: :mad:
