I mean, the IMAP thing is parrotted, I know if I can't see the history, I need to find the IMAP view. Doesn't help that when I press the VIEWS tab, IMAP isn't always one of the choices ...
Yup. That's part of it, anyway.It sounds like you need to play with the search and filter options a little...Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
IMAP isn't a view it is an incoming mail protocol. An alternative (preferred these days) to POP3. You will need to change it in the basic account setup to connect using IMAP rather than POP3.0

Whoever forced you out of using the thing you knew how to use should have a mechanism in place to teach you how to use the new thing ..
What are you paying these external IT people for ?
