Price for Hyundai i30 Clutch?

I have been quoted £400 by an independent garage to replace a clutch on a Hyundai i30 estate. Does this seem reasonable?

Yes, if it includes the flywheel, which may need/perhaps should be done at the same time. Cost me £600 to have the clutch and flywheel replaced on the wife's A4 in August.

If it doesn't include a flywheel, I'm sure I could get it done cheaper.

Diesel? Petrol? Independent or dealership? Two, three piece clutch kit?

Petrol 1.4. Independent. No flywheel, full clutch kit.

Doesn't sound fabulous, but could be worse.

Reasonable price, but check they are using LUK or similar OE quality parts, all aftermarket parts are not equal.

Thanks for the replies. I've done some phoning round this morning. The Hyundai dealership quoted £623 and Kwik Fit £400-£450. I'm waiting on another to call me back, but seems original price is reasonable.

Just had the other garage call back. £485 but they reduced it to £425 when I mentioned my lowest quote.

Please don't use Quick Sh*t for a clutch unless you have a penchant for 'mechanics' with baseball caps on back to front who happen to find loads of other problems so your bill will double.

Agree. I just used them for an easy Saturday morning quote.
