  • Just remembered the most important thing i learnt today (well actually a few months ago) to save money at Christmas look on the MSE forums I'm off to find an Argos sale now!

    Ive also found a little mag called Hawkins Bazaar, its a great read with really inexpensive stocking fillers of all the fab things we used to play with and cant seem to get hold of now, (remember those paper flickers on a stick that would lick out for a couple of feet on a stick) i used to love mine played with it for ages, dunno maybe kids will think its a bit boring now ??? but loads of other stuff at great prices, may be worth having a look, sorry dont have the link to email address.
