I was told by Npower that they would apply for a warrant at a 'local' court'
They have to give you the opportunity to attend so I assume that means the court which covers the area the supply address is in0 -
Hi joeblack9,
I think in this instance it's going to best to speak to the warrants department here at E.ON, as they will have the details of the account and what's happening with the court.
If you need some help contacting them, please just ask me.
Thank you

Surely any court in England and Wales has jurisdiction over all areas of England and Wales.
If someone contests the application, and wins, they can claim travel expenses and for lost income from work.0 -
Can you contest by post?Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

I made a claim against a national company in the Small Claims Court - only for a couple of hundred pounds.
I turned up in court, the legal department of this firm submitted a letter stating my claim was invalid. Both myself and the Judge disagreed and I won - plus expenses!
I had no idea their solicitor was not going to turn up. I suppose their reasoning was that to send a solicitor on a 300 mile round trip would cost more than losing the claim.0
