Apply for FD account after previous open/switch/close

Options
Earlier in the year I took advantage of the £150 switch incentive and switched my HSBC current account to First Direct. I then switched from First Direct to TSB who I am happy with.

However I'd like to open a FD regular saver account for the 5%, so will need to apply for a new current account.

Will I have any problems based on my previous activity with them? (and HSBC I guess)

Thanks

Wouldn't have thought so, they have a reputation for being a bit picky and slow but given you qualified previously then they may well be happy to take you back.

Would have been easier to open another account as a donor and have left the fd account in place but hopefully no harm done.

You are presumably in the same situation with a HSBC 5% regular saver as well?

    Thanks for your thoughts.

Yeah same situation with HSBC, oops. At the time I didn't know about regular savers so didnt think twice at switching them out.

I've not had one with M&S so will do a switch from a natwest donor I have just opened for that one, to get the incentive and the saver.
