Does anyone have experience of HSBC Premier? I was wondering if people can be automatically upgraded to it in the same way that some people in here have said has happened to them with HSBC Advance?

Yes, though was a while ago so cannot recall who initiated the upgrade. Main reason for me anyway is access to the 6% (as opposed to standard 4%) reg saver and travel insurance.0 -
I had a meeting in branch with the Premier relationship manager, had to sign a few forms, I instigated the process.
Worth the effort, even if only for the UK call center and travel insurance.0 -
No auto-upgrade - Credit scored upgrade yes.0
