one last BT question

I think i've just about found that original deal (might be a £1 worse but you have to draw a line somewhere), ends tomorrow, so trigger about to be pulled...12 months of BT wish me luck!

I have found them to be much better than Virgin Media (I made the switch about a year ago).

!!!!...i cannot read the small print, not the same deal at all.
is there any mileage in ringing and asking for the previous deal? sort of thing Sky tend to go for but i'm not sure how deal friendly BT are?
is there a 'switching' team at BT or do i just follow the customer service number?

we had a power cut literally seconds after i completed...think someone was trying to tell me something!
