I have just bought a Panasonic LUMIX FZ1000 bridge camera but I have to wait a while as stocks are in short supply due to Earthquake in Japan back in April so I am told, takes along time to get factory back up. Given very good reviews but might be out of your price range around £600 mark. I got it from here http://www.ukdigital.co.uk/panasonic-lumix-dmc-fz1000-camera.html costs £5690

So no zoom? Do you just like bridge cameras because of the viewfinder and the way they look like SLRs?General scenery, buildings, postboxes etc.
A general compact camera, or a 'travel zoom' may be a cheaper or better choice.
One of these? https://www.ephotozine.com/article/top-10-best-budget---cheap-compact-cameras-2016-174950 -
Take your pick https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_2_13?url=search-alias%3Delectronics&field-keywords=bridge+camera&sprefix=bridge+camera%2Caps%2C192&crid=HJPPX2JAL0XB
I have one but rarely use it now as the camera on my Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is so good.0
