Armitage cat flea treatment - product recall (potentially fatal)

The company have accidentally put their dog flea and tick treatment in their cat flea treatment packaging. The dog version contains a substance that is poisonous for cats - potentially fatally. If you have any of this treatment at home, don't use it and see the link above.

Hopefully no-one here is using this brand. I googled and it seems to be a cheap one that's only sold by some of the smaller websites online. Just in case though. :eek:

• Armitage Pet Care Flea and Tick Drops for Dogs 702 mg spot-on solution (Vm 20205/4003)
• Armitage Flea Drops for Cats and Kittens

An unknown quantity of the Armitage Pet Care Flea and Tick Drops for Dogs containing permethrin has been distributed in packaging labelled Armitage Flea Drops for Cats and Kittens.

Exposure to even small quantities of concentrated permethrin can cause severe and fatal poisoning in cats.

If you have one of the products, do not use it on your cat.
