UKCPS on 10/11?

Hi All,

I've been reading the newbies thread and another UKCPS threads since I received a parking 'invoice' from UKCPS for leaving the premises. However there is one thing that isn't super clear to me and that's if I need to respond to this as they have recently been suspended? I know that suspension is now up however given the ticket was placed on my car on the 10th when I believe they were still under suspension should I just ignore it as they won't have access to my details?

If not should I use the template in the NEWBIES thread and send that off as well as an e-mail to the land owner?

Thanks for any advice!

  • If the ticket was on your windscreen on the 10th November, then they have 28 days to wait before they can issue an NtK, and that has to be in your hands by day 56 (i.e. 28 days later).

That means the earliest they can apply for keeper details is some time around December 8th, and it has to be with you by about January 6th.

THAT BEING SAID: UKCPS still have to get a successful DVLA audit before they can get keeper details, so I'd recommend waiting to see if anything has happened by start of December.

  • Thanks for the quick response! Yes it's definitely UKCPS, I was just worried that threads regarding them seemed to have gone quiet since the end of November.

I'm new to this parking ticket malarkey, is the IPC website updated regularly?

You ignore it as UKCPS are currently suspended from gaining any details from the DVLA, they have no idea who you are and no chance of contacting you.

If you get anything further on this, come back, but please start a new thread of your own.
