Count me in too if it's not too late (if there's not enough room for me I can always breathe in
). So far today, muesli and skimmed milk. I don't usually eat breakfast and even though I'd already been up for two and a half hours when I ate it, I was still too half asleep to really notice and my stomach didn't care. It'll be a different story later, when my stomach wakes up. I'll find my Paul McKenna CD too, and see if I can put it back to sleep again
Eek! Someone's stolen my signature! :eek:0 -
I've been doing this since 1 July and so far have lost 12 lb
The kids haven't noticed - except for lack of puddings. Ice cream craving is now solved with sorbet or HM ice lolly (squash frozen).
Sugar craving is usually solved with some cereal as it's lower fat than chocolate etc, or toast and jam. I don't really crave chocolate - just sweet things every now and then.
Not a huge fan of porridge but it is the only thing that stops me from snacking and being hungry at 10 am!!
Today's porridge was (made with water) with raisins, cinnamon and some honey and was much nicer (thanks to the older porridge thread I found). Will try it with cooked apple and cinnamon next week.
Tonights tea is grilled salmon (frozen fillets on offer in Tesco) with boiled potatoes and veg (probably with some sort of passata sauce or parsley sauce).working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
I seem to remember listening to a Paul M CD and falling asleep too ...i can't believe we all buy his CD's and fall asleep!
Anyway, good luck pounds_and_pensive and everyone 'cake' else...sorry my mind was drifting off to food again!0 -
Can I join in please?:T
I've been going to Slimming World for a few weeks now but can't really afford it at the momentand I haven't really got my head aroud it either.
I lost over a stone with PMK's book/cd last year but lost the plot at Christmas........
I've started this morning with porridge made with half skimmed milk/water, raisins and a bit of honey, brought a pitta bread with a bit of cheese and a lot of beetroot for lunch and will have baked bubble and squeak with a poached egg for tea. I've got fruit in case I get peckish.
I'll plan for the week tonight as I shop tomorrow. and I think I'll drag out the cd tonight as well.....0 -
newlywed, where do you buy your salmon from and how much is it? I love salmon and me and my girls have it in sandwiches but salmon fillets for dinner would be lovely (i've never thought to buy them as i thought they were expensive).
Rockie4, glad to have you on board!..the more people the better as we will learn more o/s healthy tips and new low fat recipes from each other.0 -

TEsco had them on offer in the freezer cabinet - not Tesco own but some other make (sorry can't remember what). There are 8 individually wrapped fillets in there and I think it cost £5. Not majorly cheap compared to other meals but the cheapest I've seen the salmon. Their non-frozen salmon fillets are usually £10 for 8 bits when it's in a large bag.
Just found it : http://www.tesco.com/superstore/product/promo.aspx?prodId=61343296

Count me in too, I've been going to WW but yesterday after sitting bored listening to the leader drone on about fibre in brown rice and bread I got a light bulb moment that the only person who can lose the weight is ME!! So healthy meals from now on, although tbh with me it's the bits inbetween the meals that cause the problem
Which is the weight loss thread please?
I've just had brown lentil soup and chicken sandwich, and have some chicken thighs for tea, not sure what with yet. I need to get my head around planning properly too :rolleyes:2025 - Declutter to Move House

Same as on the Lose Weight thread, everyone is on different types of healthy eating plans - whether paying for "classes" or not (I'm not - not counting any points or calories or anything either as I get a bit obsessive otherwise).working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0
