Hi
I have recently been told I'm being made redundant, our agreed date is 21st Dec. I have found a new job and have handed in my notice in today. My last working day for my current employer is 14th Dec. What I want to ask is whether I can use my remaining 4 holiday days to extend my employment until the 21st Dec (as 14th is a weds) so I will still receive my redundancy pay. Any help will be appreciated as I would like the £1200.
Thanks

I believe as you have found new employment who will not receive any redundancy.
But others may be along later to clarify this point0 -

I am at a complete loss as to understand why you have handed in your notice. You have just quit and therefore lost any right to redundancy.0

IF you have resigned before receiving your official notice of redundancy, you do not pass GO and you do not receive your £1200.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
